The road to Wigan peer

Fix Auto UK has strengthened its position in the north west by adding S&D Pollitt Ltd to its network as Fix Auto Wigan.

Owned and managed by brothers Dave and Stephen Pollitt, the appointment increases Fix Auto’s network coverage in the area, which already includes Fix Auto Northwich, Blackpool & Fylde, Carlisle, Blackburn, Rochdale and Manchester East.

The Pollitts doubled the size of their repair centre two years ago and operate out of two adjoining units totalling 17,600 sqft. They repair an average of 56 vehicles a week with the capability to cater for more than 70 repairs when operating at full capacity.

Managed by Andy Sankey for the last 15 years, the bodyshop has a portfolio of vehicle manufacturer approvals including Toyota, Nissan, Fiat and Kia as well as a workforce of 30 people.

We realised some time ago that we needed to be part of a network of bodyshops if we are to continue to succeed, grow and develop.
