Solus gets refreshed

Solus, the nationwide network of accident repair centres owned and operated by Aviva, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a refreshed new brand.

Solus aims to create a warm, friendly and welcoming environment which focusses on the customers.

Its accident repair centres will have refreshed customer areas featuring real life customer stories, new signage and workshop banners. The reception areas will also include Solus’s new purpose ‘Welcome back to normal’.

The new brand will also help deliver the cultural changes required with investment in people through training and coaching – empowering employees to identify opportunities where we can improve outcomes for customers.

Simon Smith, Solus operations director, said, ‘Car repair centres are not always the most customer friendly environments, which can be intimidating for some people. We want to change that and create a welcoming environment for all our customers.

‘Being in a car accident can be a stressful experience and we want to make the repair as straightforward and convenient as possible.  We want to welcome our customers back to normal and the refreshed Solus brand will do that.’

The roll-out of the new brand is underway at Cumbernauld, Warrington, Basingstoke and Bournemouth and will continue throughout the other repair centres across the country to be completed by the end of 2017.
