Revive! revival for Bentley technician

Wrexham Revive! has employed a former Bentley employee to repair scuffs and scrapes to car paintwork and alloy wheels.

Kevin Johnson, who worked as a specialist mirror refinisher on the Mulsanne line at the Crewe factory, was one of many made redundant by Bentley.

But the 36-year-old has now been snapped up by Wrexham Revive! owner Mark Williams.

Kevin said, ‘I’m really enjoying my new job. I was ready for a new challenge and love cars, so when I saw the distinctive Revive! van driving around I thought I’d make contact.  I’m used to bodyshop work and finishing cars to very high standards and just loving the variety of jobs we do here. No two days are the same and there’s a lot of satisfaction to be had when you see how delighted our customers are when they see the finished result.’

Mark added, ‘I know it is a cliché but I really am over the moon. Kevin is a great bloke, fits in well and knows his stuff.  His skill and expertise is a great asset to our business and will enable us to set the bar even higher.’
