Revive! answers SOS Call

Revive! has converted a caravan into a mobile coaching unit for the charity Save Our Soldier (SOS).

Working free of charge, it took technicians at Revive! head-office workshop five days to transform the exterior of the 6.71m Abbey Stafford GT, 5 berth Caravan, and with the help of a local sign writer the SOS roadshow was ready to roll.

Revive! managing director Mark Llewellyn said, ‘We went to a charity event hosted by Save Our Soldier and were just blown away by the drive and dedication of these guys. Several of our franchisees and technicians are ex-servicemen and have first-hand experience of the trauma of active service. They’ve seen how it has affected their friends and colleagues which is why we wanted to do something positive to help this amazing charity.

‘Painting vehicles is what we do, so when we heard about the plans for the mobile coaching unit we were only too happy to offer our assistance.’

The mobile coaching unit will enable SOS to take their coaching team around the country where they can help ex-servicemen and members of the emergency services suffering from post-traumatic stress injury to begin their journey towards a new and resourceful outlook.

SOS chief executive officer Lee Hayward said, ‘The charity can’t thank Revive! and its workshop team enough for making this possible. The caravan looks great and will help people know and learn about Save Our Soldier. It will be the first in the country and having a mobile unit will now allow us get help to people sooner than we could do before.’
