Despite the bodyshop parts industry achieving a greater service delivery than Amazon, improvements could still be made according to Prasco UK.

According to aftermarket parts specialists Prasco UK, there is an unending focus on how service levels within the sector can be enhanced.

Kelvyn Waugh, managing director of Prasco UK, said, ‘Reducing the time between receiving an order and delivery is paramount and we are always seeking new processes and technology to forever speed our process up.

‘I’m always amazed when I hear that people are wowed by the phenomenal service by online companies like Amazon and yet we, as an industry, have been achieving a greater service delivery long before they came to the party. There are no doubts in my mind the process could be improved further if bodyshops embraced and adopted the latest parts procurement technology out there.’
