Newbury joins Fix Auto network

Headley Bodyshop has joined the Fix Auto UK network and will now operate as Fix Auto Newbury.

Spanning 26,000 sqft, the Berkshire-based bodyshop which houses three spraybooths, is owned and managed by Frazer Phipps and Ivan Simonowski. The site was originally built as the main Gowrings Ford dealership repair site during the 1980s, however the centre had stood empty before the duo bought it nine years ago.

Today, the business holds vehicle manufacturer approvals for Nissan, Honda, Renault and Mazda and completes more than 120 repairs a month.

Speaking about joining the network, Frazer said, ‘These are fast changing times for our industry and we have stood alone as an independent business for far too long now. We want to take the business forward and have major plans for the future. Being part of Fix Auto UK, in our eyes, is fundamental to that future and our continued success.’

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK, added, ‘Here we have yet another highly driven business that will undoubtedly further strengthen our network, particularly in Berkshire and the Home Counties. I welcome the team at Fix Auto Newbury on board.’
