New campaign to mind the gap

Its campaign to roll out awareness of it offering across the entire country which will be spearheaded by a dedicated team. Significantly, the new campaign will reveal how Autotech Recruit can help keep workshops and garages running, saving owners up to £2,000 per day.

The move follows reports that, as the UK becomes a centre of excellence in the manufacturing of vehicles, the skills shortage is still acutely felt nationwide. Testament to this, Autotech Recruit has witnessed a surge in demand for skilled candidates to take up both temporary and permeant positions over the last 12 months.

Leveraging on their position as the UK’s only specialist agency to supply temporary and permanent MOT testers and technicians, Autotech Recruit’s campaign will ultimately drive awareness of the fact they operate the largest network of pre-screened, highly skilled MOT testers and vehicle technicians, who can quickly provide any level of cover, from a city centre workshop to a garage in Scotland.

‘From holiday and sickness cover, to managing peak periods of business, lost revenue from an unmanned MOT station can amount to £2,000 per day,’ said Autotech Recruit’s MD Gavin White. ‘A temporary contractor, who can be in situ within as little as 24 hours, can cover anything from one day to a few months to ensure the efficiency of a garage or workshop is maintained.’

Helping to keep workshops running, with a dedicated team to cover all three regional UK divisions, Autotech Recruit operates a network of contractors covering the whole of Great Britain.
