Nationwide Vehicle Contracts tops list

Manchester-based Nationwide Vehicle Contracts was named the largest leasing broker by fleet size at the launch of the Leasing Broker Federation Top 30 (LBF T30) at London’s RSA House.

The LBF T30 is the definitive list of leasing brokers by size to help define the reach and influence of the leasing broker sector on the automotive market. Nationwide Vehicle Contracts took the number one slot with a fleet size of 37,523 vehicles on contract in 2016.

This would place Nationwide Vehicle Contracts at number 12 in the annual FN50 listing of top leasing companies, although unlike contract hire companies, leasing brokers do not have assets on risk.

Keith Hawes, non-executive director at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, said, ‘We are delighted in achieving number one status in the inaugural year of the LBF T30. We would like to thank our funders, manufacturer suppliers and of course our staff for enabling us to achieve this position.

‘Our vehicle parc continues to grow significantly and we hope to stay on top in 2018. Initiatives such as the Leasing Broker Federation’s LBF T30 help to raise the profile of brokers in the industry.’

The top 10 leasing brokers are: Nationwide Vehicle Contracts (37,523); Fleet Alliance (26,930); Total Motion Vehicle Management (21,433); Select Car Leasing (11,015); Vansdirect (9,839); Bridle Group (5,803); MW Vehicle Contracts (5,000); Rivervale (4,000); Synergy Automotive (3,975); and Complete Vehicle Management (2,569).
