Motofix partners with PAAS Ltd.

Motofix, the leading regional vehicle accident repairer, has announced that it has partnered with PAAS Ltd. and developed a bespoke training and assessment course for quality control, aimed specifically at the accident repair sector.

Motofix is proud that its course has been approved by the IMI under its Quality Assured Programme (QAP).

The launch of the course demonstrates Motofix’s commitment to continuously delivering vehicle repairs of the with the highest quality standard. The course is aimed at workshop controllers, quality control staff and managers. It covers both practical elements and assessments of process. Successful candidates will receive certification from the IMI.

CEO of Motofix, Liam Kearney, comments, ‘We are delighted to have successfully launched a Professional Quality Control programme, signifying our dedication to further providing customers with a better journey. After identifying the need for a formal course of this type in the industry, we would like to thank PAAS Ltd. for making our vision a reality. Structured quality control training of our staff will help to reduce waste, reduce re-work and build confidence with customers.’

PAAS Ltd.’s managing director, Phil Archer, adds, ‘During the writing of this course it became clear that this is an area where training for those who carry out quality control checks at the end of a repair, prior to handing the vehicle back to the owner, has been lacking. Modern vehicles are becoming more and more complex as technology marches forever forward, and therefore it is vital that any vehicle that has had work carried out on it must be fully checked to ensure it is right. We look forward to working with Motofix on this exciting new course and we feel that this will add value to an already respected company.’
