Key Cenex speakers announced

Senior figures from automakers including Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan and Toyota will join experts from technology developers, the government and the energy sector at Cenex-LCV2017.

Over 80 speakers will be sharing expertise at seminars and workshops over the two-day event, taking place 6–7 September 2017, at Millbrook in Bedfordshire.

Seminar topics include advances in low emissions propulsion technologies, driverless cars, energy efficient motorsport, as well as smart management of electric vehicles charging infrastructure and developments projected for battery technologies.

Seminar speakers will join keynote speakers from the Automotive Council, Advanced Propulsion Centre, Innovate UK, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), and the Office for Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV), in reflecting on a decade of progress in the low carbon vehicle industry and advising on the technologies and partnerships that will steer the future of low carbon and low emission transportation.

The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 attendees, who will attend networking events, seminars and workshops on all aspects of low carbon vehicle development and policy, as well as touring the extensive indoor and outdoor exhibition.

Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex, said, ‘Progress in the low carbon vehicle industry moves fast, and this year’s seminar topics will give LCV attendees a chance to catch up on the latest developments in technology and policy, while networking with innovators, researchers, and manufacturers. I am excited about the diversity of seminar topics and high calibre of speakers we’ve secured for the 10th annual LCV event and look forward to many new announcements at the event.’
