Ford seeks 1,000 UK technicians

Ford dealers in the UK are hiring up to 1,000 technicians to support its push into self-driving cars, and electric and hybrid engines.
Andy Barratt, chairman and managing director of Ford of Britain, said: ‘Although we value traditional technical skills, we’re looking for ambitious and flexible technicians who can join us on our journey to hybrids, battery electric vehicles, and autonomous technology – and beyond.’
Positions are available for apprentices as well as trained technicians.
