Fix Auto Inverness officially open

Fix Auto UK has expanded in Scotland with the opening of a new £1 million repair centre – Fix Auto Inverness.

Fix Auto Inverness, which is owned and run by the O’Hare family, is now complete eight months after joining the network. The new site will operate alongside his existing sites, Fix Auto Elgin – the network’s most northerly bodyshop, and Fix Auto Aberdeen.

Sitting on a 1.2acre city centre location, the new 20,000sq ft bodyshop houses two spray booths, 20 work bays, an internal valeting bay as well as offices. The new centre will have the capacity of repairing more than 80 vehicles a week.  There are also plans to develop a vacant building into a dedicated on-site Fix & Go express repair facility.

Andy O’Hare, who manages the business, said, ‘When I joined Fix Auto last year, Inverness was just starting to take shape and here we are fully operational and fully branded as a Fix Auto site. It is a massive investment but the site is perfect, not just for our immediate needs but it also provides us with the scope and facilities to develop further as we look to the future.’

‘With Elgin and Aberdeen being so well established, a Fix Auto site here in Inverness has been long overdue not only to serve the city but further assist the business and the whole Fix Auto network in covering the Highlands and the Islands.’

Michael McLaren, Fix Auto UK’s regional operations manager for Scotland and Northern England, said, ‘What Andy and his team have achieved in developing this prestigious site in such a short space of time is impressive and is a credit to all involved. The new site strengthens our whole offering here in Scotland.’
