Fix Auto adds 12th London site

Fix Auto UK has increased its presence in London with the addition of JS Coachworks to the network. Now operating as Fix Auto Forest Hill, the bodyshop becomes Fix Auto’s 12th bodyshop operating inside the M25 motorway.

The South London bodyshop is owned and managed by Jonathan Staggs, and is made up of four adjoining business units spanning 7,000sqft. The business is poised to undergo an investment programme that will see a fifth unit added, incorporating a second spraybooth to accommodate commercial vehicles. This work will include the development of a secure parking compound for up to 30 vehicles – vital in an area in South East London where space is at a premium.

The bodyshop currently repairs up to 100 vehicles a month, a figure that is expected to increase to more than 140 when its investment programme is completed by the autumn.

Jonathan said, ‘I’ve managed to build my business up from scratch to a position where I now employ 12 dedicated team members who repair up to 100 cars a month.  I’m extremely proud of our achievements and reputation, but I want to continue to grow. If I’m going to do that, I need the help, support and guidance only a network like Fix Auto UK can bring.’

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK said, ‘Jonathan’s story of how he has single-handedly developed his business is inspirational. He is an entrepreneurial business owner who is passionate about repairing cars and someone who recognises that being part of a network of like-minded bodyshops will assist his continued progress. In essence, he’s a perfect fit for our growing network and we are excited to have Fix Auto Forest Hill on board to further develop our London solution.’
