Fiat focuses on LCV market

Fiat Professional has signalled its intent to capitalise on the UK’s growing LCV market with a number of key appointments and a major restructuring and expansion of its sales team.

Richard Chamberlain has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of sales. He brings with him more than two decades of experience in the automotive sector, joining from Volvo Group where he most recently served as LCV manager for Renault Trucks.

‘The LCV market in the UK is bigger than it’s ever been and the opportunities that come with that are enormous,’ he said. ‘No brand is better placed than Fiat Professional to capitalise on those opportunities as we now have one of the broadest, most competitive and compelling LCV line-ups in the marketplace.

‘Last year saw the introduction of two new products, the midsize Talento van and Fullback as Fiat Professional’s first pickup. We will have a laser focus on meeting the needs of our customers moving forward.’

In addition, a new LCV focused SME sales team has been appointed to support Fiat Professional’s nationwide network of 77 specialist commercial vehicle dealers.
