Craig takes Hella gold

Craig Woolmer, proprietor of A&C Auto Repairs, has been presented with a cheque for £2,000 as the first ‘gold winner’ of Hella’s sensor promotion.

To signify the occasion, Helen Goldingay and Grant Anderson, respectively Hella’s senior head of marketing and communication and business development manager for Essex, as well as Martyn Escritt, general manager of supplying factor, Essex Motor Factors, were all present for the handover, which took place at Craig’s workshop in Witham.

Craig received the golden sensor in a box of the sensor he had ordered from Essex Motor Factors for a Volvo V90 he was repairing. ‘When I opened the box and found the gold sensor, I was first confused, because it’s rare that Essex Motor Factors supply the wrong part,’ Craig explained, ‘then I thought it was a joke, as no one really wins a cash prize like this. However, it came at the perfect time just before Christmas.’

Commenting on this first gold winner Helen said, ‘Although the sensor promotion is fundamentally about raising awareness of the wide range of products within Hella’s portfolio and how we can help technicians with the important work they undertake, it’s also great to be able to give a hardworking professional like Craig a cash prize that’s obviously so appreciated.’

According to Hella, more winning sensors are still in circulation.
