Covéa awarded IIP Gold

Covéa Insurance has been awarded Gold accreditation by Investors In People (IIP), placing the insurer among the best employers in the country.

The IIP framework is an external benchmark that measures employee-centred success indicators including; recruitment, training, engagement and development of employees.

Lisa Meigh, director of HR and learning, Covea Insurance said, ‘We are immensely proud to achieve Gold accreditation for a second time. We have continued to strengthen how we support and empower our people with extensive development opportunities and platforms to engage and involve everyone. It’s fantastic to receive this independent endorsement that Covéa Insurance is a great place to work.’

The IIP Gold accreditation was awarded to Covéa Insurance for three years following an assessment which took place in July 2017 involving interviews with 151 staff members across all levels and areas of the business.

Julia Stokes, IIP assessor commented, ‘I was blown away by the amazing feedback I received from employees I interviewed, it’s clear that Covéa Insurance has created a buzzing and energetic culture, fantastic for such a large business, in which employees are encouraged to develop and excel in their careers.’

This is the second time Covéa Insurance has achieved the accolade which it first gained in October 2014.
