Constable secures Ginetta GT4 Supercup

Fix Auto UK-sponsored racing driver Jac Constable has won the 2017 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup AM Class Championship, after a successful final weekend of the championship at Brands Hatch.

The 19-year-old needed two second place podium finishes from the three-race event to secure his championship victory and he duly delivered with two impressive drives.  Jac finished second in the first two races of the weekend, closely behind his nearest rival Colin White, to secure the overall AM Class title.

Commenting on his Championship victory Jac said, ‘It is the best feeling in the world. I can’t quite believe it. 2017 is my first Ginetta GT4 SuperCup AM Class Championship season and I never thought for a second when we started the year I’d be in the running for the title, let alone win it.  It’s been a terrific year and the team and sponsors behind me have been absolutely fantastic.  I couldn’t be happier.’

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK, said, ‘When we agreed to support Jac, we did so confident that we were backing a winner and he has certainly delivered. We congratulate him and his team for a tremendously exciting and successful season.’
