Change at top for Audatex

David Shepherd has been appointed as regional managing director of Audatex UK Ltd, Audatex SA (PTY) Ltd, and Valexa Technologies Ltd replacing Paul Sykes.

David joined Solera in 2008 and he has operated in a variety of international managing director positions, most recently as head of Solera’s global account management team.

‘I am delighted to be returning to the dynamic UK and South African markets,’ commented David. ‘Although previously I have worked mainly within international roles at Solera, I have always kept a close interest in the UK market. I intend to build on the strong relationships, solutions and service levels that Paul and his team have established. With a key focus on achieving operational excellence, the enhancement of our digital journey and continuing to collectively bring the claims community together – with the ultimate focus on the end customer.’

Outgoing regional managing director, Paul Sykes said, ‘David is a highly competent successor. Given his experience within Solera and his extensive knowledge of the industry, I am confidently leaving this position in safe hands. I am very grateful for the trust that Solera has given me in my career, and wish the UK and global businesses every success for the future.’

Paul has worked at Audatex for 20 years and has been highly instrumental to its success and unique market position. Paul will remain with Audatex until a full handover has been concluded, ensuring a smooth transition. Following the transition, Paul will leave Audatex to pursue a new opportunity.
