Cazana enters new scale

A new used car search engine from big data business Cazana, now allows users to search over 600,000 used cars currently on sale, just two months following its launch this summer.

Now the UK’s largest car search engine, Cazana is updated every hour with details of the most recent vehicles for sale across thousands of dealers and private sellers.

Visitors to the site can filter results by make, model, trim, location, price, body styles, fuel types, transmission, age, mileage and colour. Cazana also provides a proprietary valuation of every vehicle in the UK, which factors in accurate option pricing and condition, as well as revealing the hidden history on every vehicle from manufacture to present day from its database of vehicle history.

Alongside allowing consumers to track a car’s value and history to make better informed decisions, Cazana’s big data solutions offer manufacturers, finance companies and insurers significant insight into residual value setting and mitigating vehicle fraud, such as simple mis-descriptions or car cloning schemes.

Tom Wood, founder and CEO at Cazana, comments, ‘We’re really excited that our search engine has reached such scale already, and has attracted so many users in a short period of time. We’re now working on our intelligent matching service so that customers can access deals directly from our partner dealers. We’re constantly rolling out new ways of searching for vehicles based on user feedback – you’ll soon see sections on the site for baby-friendly vehicles and best first cars.

‘Visitors to the site have tripled over the past 12 months, and we are bringing thousands more cars onto the platform every day. Our goal is to bring the currently fragmented global used car business together in one comprehensive place and we’re well on our way to achieving just that.’
