Bicester Heritage signs off in style

Bicester Heritage opened its gates to the public for the final time on 1 October, with more than 1,000 cars spanning a century of automotive history.
The 14th edition followed on from the success of Scrambles past, allowing visitors to enjoy going behind the scenes at over 30 dedicated restoration, engineering and fabrication businesses and also take in the UK’s best-preserved WW2 RAF Bomber Station.
In addition, Bicester Heritage revealed the restored buildings of the fourth phase of restoration, most notably the Motor Transport Yard. The buildings have been restored in a similar fashion to the rest of the Bomber Station, using period correct-colours and roof tile patterns, but they have been considerably updated and made appropriate for modern commercial use.
The Bicester Heritage community is constructed as a supportive ecosystem of business, skills, events and provides a one-stop shop for motoring enthusiasts. From vehicle storage to specialist dealers, upholsterer, vintage car radiator manufacturer, fabricators, classic car service centre, grand-prix car preparation and more, it’s the true home of the classic car.
