Autosport International sets NEC course

Europe’s foremost platform for suppliers of technical motorsport products and services takes place at Autosport International at the NEC, Birmingham on 11, 12 January 2018.

Autosport International will showcase the latest cutting edge technology, materials and components to buyers from around the world in an industry boasting an annual turnover in excess of £9bn.

More than 26,000 registered leaders from within the aerospace, marine defence and motorcycle industries alongside those from the motorsport and automotive industries are expected to attend the show.

More than a third of Autosport Attendees say they have found new suppliers at the event, while three quarters added that they’d sourced new products and discovered new technologies. Over half a billion pounds are spent during and following a visit to Autosport International.

As part of the extended range of network events and business-focused activities, the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) will also be running a number of workshops at Autosport International 2018 along with Talk Shop, a forum giving exhibitors an additional opportunity to host their own seminars where they could go into detail about their products and topics within the industry.

Tony Tobias, head of Autosport Engineering said, ‘Building on the success of the 2017 show, we are making the 2018 show the best hub for trade delegates to come and do business. The motorsport and automotive industry is evolving massively and Autosport Engineering is the centrepiece for motorsport excellence, showcasing the perfect crossover of technology with different industries. If you are in the motorsport and specialist engineering sectors, then Autosport Engineering is the place to do business.’
