Automechanika extends opening hours

Automechanika Birmingham in 2017 has announced longer opening hours to enable both visitors and exhibitors to maximise their participation.

Instead of closing at 4.30pm, the new hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Simon Albert, event director, said, ‘At the event last year, we noticed that a great deal of business was still being conducted on stands as the show closed at 4.30. With over 800 exhibitors at an event which will be 70% bigger, we recognise that a slightly extended day is needed, so that visitors can gain maximum benefit from their visit. The new hours will be 9.30 to 5.30 on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th and 9.30 to 5.00 on Thursday 8th June.

‘In addition to the diversity and choice of exhibitors, the show offers extensive learning and networking opportunities at more than 60 seminar sessions across the three days, tailored to the aftermarket, supply chain and workshops, and with so much going on, we recommend that industry professionals stay for more than one day to ensure that they take advantage of everything that this large-scale event offers. It’s now the largest automotive trade event in the UK so it deserves the market’s full attention.’

Early registration is available, with benefits including 25% off train prices and free coffee and pastry for visitors arriving before 10am.
