Auto Windscreens saddle up for Spinal Research

On Saturday 12th August, Shaun Atton, Roger Tacey, Tony Green and Adam Smith from leading automotive glass repair and replacement company, Auto Windscreens donned their cycling gear to take part in a 90 mile charity bike ride.
Starting in Leicester and culminating in Skegness, the team raised an incredible £500 in sponsorship from colleagues, family and friends for Spinal Research. The ride, organised by the charity and a member of Shaun’s family who suffers with spina bifida, saw 13 riders take part.
James MacBeth, operations director of Auto Windscreens commented, ‘We’re extremely proud of the staff who took part in the cycle challenge and the great sum raised. This charity is close to Shaun’s heart and we’re thrilled that we were able to support him.’
Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Spinal Research raises money to fund research into clinical treatments including vital scientific research such as clinical tools to better understand the injury caused, and for the devastating effects on daily living.
