Aston Martin present at GALM

The sixth Global Automotive Lightweight Materials Conference will feature a case study on novel lightweighting solutions applied across Aston Martin’s new DB11.

Taking place on 25-27 April, the event returns to Birmingham to discuss the most pressing issues related to automotive lightweighting and help European manufacturers meet their production and cost targets within the tough global competitive environment.

Among a number of OEM case studies and technical presentations, Yan Pugh-Jones, senior manager – body closures at Aston Martin Lagonda will be presenting a case study on the novel lightweighting solutions applied across Aston Martin’s new DB11.

Yan managed the body structures team that delivered the DB11 – Aston Martin’s first all new series architecture since the DB9 was launched in 2003. He has also been involved in the development of V8 Roadster, V12 Vantage, Rapide, Cygnet, DBS, Vanquish, Vanquish Volante and DB11.
