The first session taking place at the bodyshop Event and Awards 2017 (#BE2017) in September has been confirmed.
Barry Sheehan of the University of Limerick will be talking about how insurers needs to evolve their underwriting model in an autonomous age.
His university is working on a couple of EU-funded Horizon projects on this subject, which examines the impact of split risk and shifting liability, and questions how insurance will change not just in an autonomous future, but on the journey the get there.
He said, ‘Greater collaboration between insurers and manufacturers is key to the successful, wide-scale deployment of this autonomous technology.’
The bodyshop Event and Awards takes place on 28-29 September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. To book your place call Nicola Keady on 01296 642826 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
