AkzoNobel partners Hella in Spain

AkzoNobel has extended the availability of its products in Europe with the introduction of its global vehicle refinishes brand Wanda via long-term partner Hella SA.
Spain will be the first European country to see the launch of Wanda. Wanda will be introduced in other European countries from 2018 onwards. Wanda is a complete but compact system of vehicle refinishing products and digital colour tools.
Aftermarket specialist Hella has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Wanda in Spain. Hella SA’s managing director, Ismael Carmena León said, ‘We already enjoy a well-established and effective relationship with AkzoNobel, and we are delighted to have been entrusted with delivering the Wanda system to Spanish customers. Wanda buyers can be confident of receiving high-quality products from AkzoNobel and guaranteed distribution from HELLA.’
AkzoNobel’s Vehicle Refinishes mid-market sales manager south and east Europe, Vaclav Kloub said, ‘What Wanda gives bodyshops is AkzoNobel quality at a price they can afford. It also saves money every day through low stocking and quick, simple, error-reducing processes that cut labour and material costs. That’s why we call Wanda the smart refinishing solution.’
The Wanda brand originates from Brazil, launched in 1934, and since acquisition by AkzoNobel in 1974 it has expanded worldwide.
