AkzoNobel names new FCO

AkzoNobel has appointed Maarten de Vries as its next chief financial officer, effective from 1 January 2018.
The industrial-paints company said that once he starts working the current interim CFO, Hans De Vriese, will move into the role of director of planning and transformation.
Maarten de Vries joins the company from Intertrust Group, a Netherlands-based international trust and corporate management company, where he also held the role of chief financial officer.
Maelys Castella stepped down from the role as FCO and as a board member due to health reasons earlier in September.
