Automotive Glass Europe has extended its European coverage to 16 countries with the appointment of a new partner in Sweden.

Glaskedjan joins a European automotive glazing network, including National Windscreens in the UK, which now extends to over 1,500 fitting centres and 1,750 mobile technicians.

Pim de Ridder, Automotive Glass Europe general manager, said, ‘Sweden has a long and impressive reputation in the automotive world in general and especially for automotive glass repair and replacement.

‘The craftsmanship and notion of delivering top quality products and services are in the blood of our colleagues in northern Europe. Therefore, we are proud to be able to add Sweden to our network.’

Staffan Thorsén, CEO of Glaskedjan i Sverige AB, said, ‘During our six years in existence Glaskedjan has proven to be a stable and reliable service provider in Sweden through our national network of nearly 70 depots.

‘Nowadays it is a must to give an international dimension to our services as well and our partnership with Automotive Glass Europe meets this need perfectly.’
