VW appoints new aftersales director

Volkswagen Group UK has appointed Nithia Pillay as its new group aftersales and customer quality director.

Nithia has been with the global business for 12 years and moved to the UK to take up his new position from Kassel, Germany, where he previously led the sales channel development division in group aftersales.

In his new role, Nithia leads the Volkswagen Group’s ongoing drive to improve the quality of customer experience at every touch point, as well as overseeing the Group’s aftersales services and business, including the Trade Parts Specialists and paint and body networks.

Volkswagen Group UK Ltd managing director, Paul Willis said, ‘I’m very pleased to welcome Nithia on board. His in-depth knowledge of the parts and aftersales market will be invaluable as we develop this growing area of our business. I wish him every success in his new role.’

The position was previously occupied by Alison Jones, who moved to take on the role of Volkswagen UK brand director in July.
