TrustFord launches annual charity auction

TrustFord will hold its third annual One Penny Auction on eBay, from Friday 2 December to 9 December, in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The auction offers the opportunity to bid on a brand new Ford Transit Courier van from 1p. Since 2014, the One Penny Auction event has raised over £35,000 in essential funding for Cancer Research UK, TrustFord’s official charity partner.

This year’s event is aimed squarely at SMEs and budding entrepreneurs, with an opportunity to see in 2017 with a new van to help drive their business.

Head of marketing, Julia Greenhough, who leads the TrustFord partnership with Cancer Research UK said, ‘Cancer Research UK is a wonderful charity and its vital work into beating cancer helps so many of us. We are constantly looking for innovative new ways to raise much needed funds and over the last three years our One Penny Auction has been hugely successful.’

TrustFord has a number of further initiatives planned to engage employees and customers to help raise funds throughout 2017.
