Show time in Germany
Two exhibitions focused on green technology will make their European debuts in Germany next year.
The Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and The Battery Show will be held in Stuttgart, Germany next April, having been first launched in California in 2010.
The shows will bring together in one location the industry’s most innovative suppliers and manufacturers of electric and hybrid vehicle technologies, as well as battery technology from across a range of industry sectors, with commercial and consumer applications.
Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo is an opportunity to network and hear from industry experts about the manufacturing process and new technologies coming into the market. Almost every major automotive OEM in Europe is developing hybrid and electric powertrain technology, and this expo will be a chance for experts to meet and discuss their products and the key issues and opportunities affecting the supply chain.
Meanwhile, running concurrently, The Battery Show features battery technology in automotive applications, as well as battery tech in a variety of other industries such as renewable energy and energy storage for utilities, power tools and consumer electronics. The show looks at trends in energy storage, both automotive and renewable, as well as a range of other applications, and how the global market for this technology is changing. There will also be discussions around the repercussions for the industry of an increasingly electrified world.
Steve Bryan, event director for The Battery Show Europe and Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo, said, ‘We are delighted to be bringing Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and The Battery Show to Europe for the first time. Stuttgart, with its strong links to automotive manufacturing, was the perfect location to launch the shows and create a space where the latest developments in these exciting technologies could be showcased and discussed.’
