Service King and Bosch join IBIS plans

Two world class sessions have been joined the IBIS Global Summit 2017 agenda. Service King, one of the world’s biggest repair networks, and the ubiquitous Bosch will both join the industry’s leading conference, which takes place 12-14 June 2017 at the Meliá Castilla in Madrid.

Service King is an organisation that has grown into a national leader in the collision repair industry. Joining the company in 1988 president Jeff McFadden, who has nearly 30 years of experience at every level of the business, will represent the business on the global stage.

As president, Jeff is heavily involved in all aspects of Service King’s mergers and acquisitions resulting in its explosive expansion and status as one of the world’s biggest collision repair groups. Jeff is uniquely placed to talk with authority on several key issues affecting the current market, including the skills shortage and what Service King is doing to lead the way.

Bosch develops and produces systems and components for all major vehicle manufacturers around the world. The conference session will explore the triangle of electrification, autonomous drive and connectivity technology and how it is forcing the global auto industry to rethink how cars will operate in the future, and therefore how to repair and service them.

The connected and digitised repair centre will be key in this process and Bosch will be presenting their views and approach on this future strain of the industry.

The theme for 2017’s Global Summit is ‘The Currency of Trust’, and both sessions will be highlighting the importance of good collaboration and the benefits of cross-industry relationships. The event is supported by IBIS partners 3M, AkzoNobel, Audatex, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Fix Auto World.

Delegate places are available for £1,885 and include full access to the Welcome Reception on 12 June, access to the full day’s conference on 13 June; the International Dinner on the pitch in Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on the evening of 13 June, as well as the final half day’s conference and delegates’ lunch on 14 June. The price also includes two nights’ accommodation (12 and 13 June) at the Meliá Castilla.
