RMI: EU vote echoes bodyshops’ views

Following today’s referendum result to leave the European Union, RMI Bodyshops, NAB and VBRA says it will continue to support independent businesses.

Jason Moseley, RMI Bodyshops executive director said, ‘The result of the referendum to leave the European Union echoes the views of the majority of our bodyshop members.

‘As our sectors leading trade body, we must now provide the advice and support that our members need to leverage the benefit, but also minimise any disruption of this change during this transitional period.

‘We have also seen volatility in the financial markets, with up to 20% of share value being wiped off insurance companies that are a key component to our industry. We will continue to monitor this situation and will keep our members updated of any potential risks.’
