Renault take three prizes at FAI awards

Renault took home three prizes from the 2016 International Automobile Festival awards in Paris.
The French car company won the Most Beautiful Car of the year for its Renault Talisman saloon car. Laurens van den Acker, who is Renault’s senior vice-president for corporate design, was named winner of the FAI’s Design Grand Prix, while the company’s “Make Your Time” advertising campaign, starring Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey, received recognition in the Best Commercial category.
The Talisman succeeds the Jaguar XE, which won the title in 2014.
The best supercar award was given to the Ford GT, while the award for best concept car was shared between the Mazda RX Vision H and the Porsche Misson E.
The Mini Clubman received a Best Interior prize, while Mercedes received an award for Most Futuristic Cars for its IAA and F015 concept cars, and the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo received a Best Creativity prize.
Former Formula One driver Mark Webber and Tesla creator Elon Musk received special recognition prizes.
