Playboy model exposed

A couple has been ordered to pay costs of £9,892 after being found guilty of making a false personal injury insurance claim against Liberty Insurance.

Playboy model Radomska and partner Sikorski were involved in a collision on 4 May 2015, after a Honda Jazz collided with their Mercedes at the Beckton Park roundabout, east London.

The couple have been ordered to pay costs of £9,892 after being found guilty of making a false personal injury insurance claim against Liberty Insurance.

Investigations by insurance industry law firm, Horwich Farrelly, on behalf of Liberty Insurance, revealed Rafal Sikorski and Anna Radomska had taken part in intensive physical training in Phuket, Thailand in July 2015 with Sikorski going on to compete in an extreme martial arts contest in Manilla, Philippines.

The case was heard before District Judge Ryan at Wandsworth County Court on 4 August 2016.

The judge stated that their accounts of the accident, inability to describe the other driver and their failure to call two friends who were supposedly at the scene as witnesses, as well as Sikorski referring to the wrong knee at one point in his oral evidence, showed clear inconsistencies in their accounts.

Andrew Buck, head of fraud at Liberty Insurance said, ‘We are delighted with this judgment which demonstrates that faking an injury claim is a crime and will be dealt with accordingly.’

Jared Mallinson, counter fraud partner at Horwich Farrelly, commented: ‘Would-be fraudsters should take this as a warning that the insurance industry will not stand for this type of illegal activity – fraudulent insurance claims are a crime, and will be treated as one. It is not a victimless way to get your hands on easy money.’
