Orio extends service team

Orio UK, the exclusive distributor of Saab Original parts, has extended its technical support and sales team with the appointment of sales specialist, Richard Gore.

Richard is a key part of the Orio UK sales hotline response team – providing parts and trade customers with daily sales and ordering support. He’ll also capture customer feedback and demands for Orio UK management to ensure it meets specific needs.

His appointment coincides with the progress made to enhance the availability of Saab parts in the last 12 months. Orio has introduced next day delivery for over 1,300 Saab Original parts via a new UK-based parts delivery centre and introduced a range of second line parts – Saab Select.

More recently Orio UK has launched a brand new portal – enabling the direct sale of all parts, Saab Original, Saab Select or in the future Orio All Makes parts.

Orio UK sales and marketing manager, David Leighton said, ‘Richard’s appointment is all about customer service. It means that interaction can be even more personal, convenient and responsive – providing an easy to reach single point of contact for each customer.’

Ultimately owned by the Swedish government, Orio provides spare part availability for the majority of the 170,000 Saab vehicles on UK roads today. It has developed a comprehensive product portfolio, a network of UK Service and Parts centres, and national logistics support.
