New VW head of marketing
Sarah Cox has been appointed head of marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. She will replace Kirsten Stagg who leaves the brand later this month to take up a new role in ŠKODA UK.
Sarah has worked for Volkswagen Group UK for 12 years, her most recent role being national communications manager for Audi UK. As head of marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, she will oversee the brand’s product marketing activities including planning and launching new models, communications, digital strategy and events.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles director Carl zu Dohna said, ‘I am delighted to welcome Sarah to the team at this exciting time. The new Crafter launch is the most significant for the brand for many years and marks the final phase of our range renewal process. We have some fantastic new products and services to communicate to a new commercial customer base, and I’m confident that with her experience, Sarah will be an asset to the brand.’
Sarah added, ‘I’m really looking forward to taking on a new challenge in Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Joining mid-way through the brand’s range renewal gives me a great opportunity to bring new products to market, and to develop a communications strategy which engages new and existing customers with our vans and services.’
