New appointment underpins new Vizion

Vizion has appointed Neil Orton to its senior management team in the UK and Ireland. He was officially named commercial director on 2 August.

With over 20 years’ experience within the automotive industry, Neil brings a wealth of experience and knowledge spanning all areas of the industry including insurance underwriting, first notification of loss, fault and non-fault liability, repair progression, mobility, insurance claim settlement and workflows and processes.

He said, ‘To say I am excited about joining Vizion would be an understatement. Vizion is a true millennial company, technologically native and advanced from its inception, Vizion has had a fully connected/integrated solution via partner companies Autoflow and WRC. Combine this with best in class OEM manufacturer and insurer relationships, Vizion has an unrivalled USP and disruptive competitive advantage, which has led to a growth trajectory that cannot be matched in the current UK Insurance Accident Repair Market.

‘We currently process over 200,000 accident repairs for our insurance, manufacturer, fleet, and broker partners in the UK and Ireland, and it’s great to be working with Chris, Eamonn, the senior management team and everyone at Vizion to take the business to the next level by further strengthening our proposition in the UK and diversifying our product portfolio and the start of our strategic growth outside of the UK and Ireland markets.

‘I’ve worked closely with the majority of Vizion’s directors for nearly 20 years and with further announcements to follow shortly regarding our business expansion, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. It truly feels like I have come home.’

Chris Mckie, managing director, added, ‘The board and I are extremely pleased to have Neil on board. Neil has an industry proven track record and is clearly a high profile appointment for us bringing a vast range of skills and experience to the business.

‘Neil is very definitely our DNA, possessing great business agility and being able to deal with big volume processes which is essential as this is an area we are very much in these days; we see nothing but good things to come.

‘Neil’s appointment is pivotal to our future plans and reinforces our management structure substantially. Vizion has been preparing for and is now entering a new phase in our evolution and a number of other announcements which will follow shortly will without a doubt establish Vizion’s place as not only a force for positive change in our industry but as the stable and sustainable partner of choice for all elements of customer service in our sector.’
