Junair and AGM to sponsor BEN cycle ride

Junair Spraybooths and AGM Services has announced they are the main sponsors of the BEN Lynwood to Paris Charity cycle ride.

The 5 day 500km cycle ride will start on 15 June at the BEN Headquarters at Lynwood, near Ascot in Berkshire, and will see cyclists ride to the French capital.

The ride is an aid of the not-for-profit organisation BEN, who are dedicated to helping people in the automotive industry. BEN offers lifetime practical help, support and advice to those who work, or have worked in the automotive and related industries, and to their family dependents, and also operates highly-regarded care centres at various locations throughout the UK.

Neil Morrison, managing director of Junair Spraybooths and AGM Services said, ‘We agreed to become main sponsor for the event as we’ve heard great things about the work that BEN has done for the industry over the years. It’s a fantastic cause. I’m just pleased that we can do our bit to help out.’

A team of cyclists from both companies will also participate in the cycle ride.

Junair founder and managing director, Neil Morrison and Jordan Young, assistant production manager, will represent Junair, while AGM Services will be represented by the company’s founder, Julie Morrison, and operations manager Fiona Morrison.

Fiona Morrison said, ‘I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’m under no illusion that it will be tough but the thought that I can do something to help those who have found themselves in difficult circumstances will spur me on. I’ve always enjoyed sports and am a member of the local hockey team, playing defence in competitive matches on a regular basis. It’s a once in a lifetime challenge, hopefully I’ll do the team proud.’
