JLR tops UK employer survey

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), AstraZeneca and Harrods are the UK’s top three employers according to an independent survey conducted by Statista for Bloomberg’s content and research arm.

To identify the best employers in the UK, Statista conducted an extensive online employee survey among 15,000 workers in more than 1,600 UK-based firms with at least 500 workers. Respondents were asked a series of questions about job satisfaction; most critically, whether they would recommend their current employer – or a competitor – to a potential employee. To ensure anonymity and the survey’s independence, none of the companies were informed beforehand.

The survey also highlighted the top 10 UK employers in the ‘Automotive and Suppliers’ category are:

1. Jaguar Landrover
2. Vauxhall Motors
3. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
4. Bentley Motors
5. Bosch
6. Nissan
7. Ford
8. Aston Martin
9. Mercedes-Benz UK
10. Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK

The survey took place between 6 – 25 October 2015.
