Goodwood 2017 dates set

The provisional dates for the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival have been announced.

The Festival of Speed (FOS) is set to be held between 22-25 June. The FOS was first held in 1993 by the 10th Earl of March, Charles Gordon-Lennox. His father and predecessor Frederik first held a hill climb back in 1936 for the Lancia Car Club.

Each year the festival sees a wide range of vehicles gather for the festival, from Formula 1 cars to motorbikes and hyper cars to classic cars. Some of the world’s most renowned drivers both past and present gather at the event whether it’s to take on the 1.16 mile climb or just mingle among the crowds.

The Goodwood Revival is set for 8-10 September and is held each year at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. It is the only event of its kind as each attendee must be dressed periodically as the event celebrates the tracks heydays between the 1950s and 60s.

The dates of the 75th Members’ meeting has also been confirmed for 18-19 March.
