Fix Auto appoints multi-award winner

Fix Auto UK has strengthened its regional operations team with the appointment of Martin Willis, a multiple industry award winner.

Martin becomes the sixth member of Fix Auto’s field-based operations team which provides support to Fix Auto franchisees across the country.

Martin entered the industry as a paintshop polisher for his local Gemini Accident Repair bodyshop before developing his skills in SMART and plastic repairs. From there he was drafted into quality control before moving to support the bodyshop manager. After 14 years at the same site, he moved to Just Car Clinics, firstly to manage its Redditch centre before taking the manager’s role at its Swindon site.

‘It was here that Martin was awarded the 2015 bodyshop magazine Bodyshop Manager of the Year Award, together with Direct Line’s Speedy Repairer of the Year award, and the Just Car Clinics CEO Award.

Commenting on the appointment, Dave Calder, Fix Auto UK’s operations director said, ‘Martin is a multi-award winning, highly driven individual who brings a wealth of industry experience to our business. I am sure his experience, drive and pedigree will provide additional strength to the fine work already carried out by our talented operations team.”
