Fix and Covea sign new agreement

Fix Auto UK’s partnership with Covéa Insurance has been cemented after it signed a new three-year agreement to repair vehicles for the insurer.

The announcement is testament to the successful working relationship and excellent customer service delivered by Fix Auto for the insurer.

Darren Bedford, Covéa Insurance’s motor engineer team manager, commented, ‘It is great to continue our valued relationship with this new long term deal which allows us to build on the excellent customer service that Fix Auto delivers for our customers. Fix Auto is consistently among our top performing repairer groups and has continually demonstrated an approach that is aligned to our own company values, making this an opportunity to celebrate.’

Fix Auto’s relationship with Covéa Insurance commenced in early 2011 with a 12-month pilot scheme involving five repair centres in the south west. Covéa Insurance officially signed a three-year agreement in November 2012 and has rapidly expanded the coverage to encompass more than 50% of Fix Auto’s network.

Ian Pugh, of Fix Auto UK, said, ‘Signing the contract with Barry Street of Covéa Insurance three years ago was a great achievement and started what has developed into a fine working relationship, which has been well managed by our regional operations manager, Andy Higgs through a number of our bodyshops across the country.

‘We look forward to growing and developing our proposition together over the next three years.’
