ERAC seeks 250 management trainees

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, part of the world’s largest car rental group, has more than 250 vacancies available for graduates on its Management Trainee Programme.

With positions vacant across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, the company’s latest recruitment initiative is being driven by another year of sustained growth across its car hire and car club services.

Last year, Enterprise Rent-A-Car hired more than 1,000 graduates from 100 universities, across a range of degree subjects and results.

During their time as management trainees, graduates are given extensive training opportunities across a wide range of business elements, including management skills, business management, marketing, sales, customer service and fleet control.

As an organisation that prides itself on promoting from within, opportunities for progression are on offer from just eight months with graduates able to become an assistant branch manager in less than two years.

Ashley Hever, talent acquisition manager for UK & Ireland at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, said, ‘We recruit graduates for real positions within our branches, which offer structured on-the-job training and the opportunity for rapid promotion based on very clear criteria including customer service. We are growing quickly, having acquired City Car Club and Burnt Tree, a commercial vehicle business, in the last 18 months. This means our demand for graduates is also likely to increase.’
