Covéa service undisturbed by integration

Covéa Insurance hasn’t suffered any ill-effects of its integration with Sterling Insurance.

The two merged earlier this year, but changes across the business haven’t disrupted service, with brokers still citing the professionalism and customer support they receive as one of the core values of working with Covéa.

This is according to independent research, which was commissioned by Covéa to assess the impact of the integration.

The survey questioned 515 Commercial Lines and brokers, inviting honest, open responses. It found that 78% of respondents rating the professionalism of the insurer’s employees as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’, while 81% of brokers rated the technical knowledge of employees as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.

In addition, 70% of respondents rated the service ‘very good’ or ’excellent’ compared to other insurers, citing open and regular communication with brokers, speed of decisions and access to decision-makers as contributing factors.

Simon Cooter, commercial lines and HNW director said, ‘I am delighted with the results of our 2016 Broker Service Survey and would like to thank the brokers who took the time to complete the survey.

‘I am proud that the passion, commitment and knowledge of our team have been rated so highly by brokers and that through a period of change; we have been able to continue to provide a great quality and consistent service. As always, we will be reviewing all the feedback to ensure that moving forward we can continue to offer our partners the highly professional service that they expect.’
