Chelmsford signs for Fix

Fix Auto UK’s national expansion has continued with the addition of Essex-based Chelmsford Accident Repair Specialists.

The new franchisee, which will operate as Fix Auto Chelmsford, is owned and managed by Jason Rickett. The 13,500sqft facility combines a traditional bodyshop with an express repair system and currently repairs up to 45 vehicles a week.

With official manufacturer approvals from Mazda, Suzuki and Hyundai and already serving major motor insurers, the bodyshop – which was established in 1993 by Jason and his now retired father David – offers motorists a one-stop shop repair, service and MOT facilities.

Jason, said, ‘Having been part of Fix Auto’s support network for some time, I’ve been pleased by what I’ve seen. The calibre and profile of the network is impressive, and while we are firmly established here in Chelmsford, I’ve realised we will benefit from the extra support Fix Auto provides to allow us to continue to grow and develop. I want to be part of a group that provides national coverage and Fix Auto UK provides that opportunity.’

Ian Pugh, of Fix Auto UK, said, ‘Our ultimate ambition is to create a fully branded UK-wide network, and the fact that Jason has opted to follow this path and reap the benefits of becoming a Fix Auto repairer speaks volumes for our offering.
