Champagne moment for National Windscreens

National Windscreens has just gone the extra 600 miles for a customer.

When Chandlers Coach Travel found itself stranded in Champagne, France after another coach reversed into it, smashing the windscreen, it called on the services of National Windscreens.

Within hours experts from the specialist glazing division were on their way to with a replacement windscreen, and in less than one day the coach was fully repaired and back on the road.

Steve Clark, lead technician for National Windscreens, said, ‘Even taking into account the 600-mile round trip, our service still proved far more cost effective and faster than Chandlers trying to organise the replacement in France working with the vehicle manufacturer. The vehicle manufacturer needed three days to deliver the glass but was then unable to help with the installation – and the glass cost alone would have been far in excess of the total charge from National Windscreens.’
