Bubblebum recognised at Amazon awards

BubbleBum, the Northern Ireland-based creator of inflatable booster seats, has received highly commended status in Amazon’s Innovator of the Year award category.

BubbleBum is labelled as ‘the most advanced, proven & tested portable booster seat on the market’ and the recognition makes it the first company from Northern Ireland to achieve success in the awards since its launch in 1999.

Grainne Kelly, Bubblebum CEO, said, ‘It is a real privilege to be flying the flag for entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland in these Amazon Growing Business Awards. As a mum of two, to see our concept – inflatable booster seats – now helping families from across almost 30 countries, I’m particularly delighted the business has reached this stage.’

The 18th annual Amazon Growing Business Awards recognised Britain’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) leaders.

Amazon’s Growing Business Awards also saw technology and insurance company Trak Global receive an award in the Growing Business of the Year: Smaller Company (£11m-£25m turnover) category.
