Brake issues force Nissan recall

Nearly 50,000 of Nissan’s electric cars are being recalled because of a brake problem.

The Japanese car manufacturer is recalling 47,000 Leaf’s in Canada and the United States because it says its brakes could require more pressure to work in very cold weather. It says the computer in the electronic brake booster needs to be reprogrammed.

The recall involves models made between 2013 and 2015. No accidents or injuries have been reported because of the fault.
