Audatex to partner AutoRaise charity

Industry charity AutoRaise has announced that it’s signed up Audatex as a Platinum Partner.

AutoRaise is working closely with key players in the automotive industry to address the acute skills shortage.

Bob Linwood from AutoRaise said, ‘It goes without saying that the benefits of having Audatex on board as a Platinum Partner are massive for us. Their team has shown a genuine interest in supporting our work and with their global resources and breadth of contact with the UK repair industry, it is an ideal partnership for the industry’s charity.

‘I am looking forward to working with their teams on a number of initiatives to help the repairer community in the apprenticeship arena and have been really impressed with their desire to give something back.’

Meanwhile, Paul Sykes, managing director Audatex UK, added, ‘More than ever, it is essential for businesses in our industry to work together to bring on and support talent to ensure our country has the skills it needs to compete on the world stage.

‘At a time when the industry is facing its worst skills gap in its history, AutoRaise is leading the way in encouraging better training and development of industry professionals, and we are thrilled to be supporting them as part of those efforts.’

AutoRaise is appointing a number of Partners at varying levels of commitment to cover the operating costs for the not-for-profit charity.

Bob explained, ‘We are a transparent organisation and want to be totally open about who we are partnering with and at what levels. If it wasn’t for these organisations offer of support, without any commercial gain, AutoRaise would not be able to develop and grow as an entity. Securing funding has been my key objective over the last few months and I am looking forward to making a few more announcements like this over the next few weeks and months.

‘Not only are our Platinum Partners committing financially, they are actively creating new initiatives with us to bring new people in to the industry and help us achieve our core objectives. We simply couldn’t do it without their support.’
